Wizz Berry Farm

Written by Jerry Daly, Wizz Berry Farm is a delightful and heartwarming collection of children's stories set on a magical farm in East Sussex, where berries come to life and form a vibrant community. Colourful characters, including Jerry Berry, Summer Strawberry, Billy Blueberry, Bella Blackberry, and Russ and Gus Gooseberry twins & Miss Honey Bee, in total thirty-three named characters, populate the farm. Each character has their own unique personality, dreams, and amusing adventures to share.

The stories follow the berries as they work together, support one another, and learn valuable lessons about friendship, kindness, teamwork, and self-belief. Their adventures range from fixing old barns and repairing boats to launching gyms, travelling the world, and causing playful mischief. Each escapade is filled with fun & humour, warmth, and imagination.

Eating berries is very healthy and good for children because they are full of goodness, vitamins, fibre, and natural flavour. Berries can help children enjoy fruit, make better food choices, and understand that healthy eating can be fun. This is one of the main reasons I wrote the Wizz Berry Farm books: to teach children that it’s all about the berries, eating healthy one berry at a time.

A magical character known as the Wizard helps make dreams come true across the farm. One of the most touching figures is Jerry Berry, who was born without legs but is supported by the other berries until the Wizard grants him legs of his own, even with lights on. This story highlights themes of friendship, support, courage and disabilities.

Throughout the series, the berries explore television, music, jobs, hobbies, and new ambitions, transforming Wizz Berry Farm into a lively world brimming with fun, laughter, surprises, and heartwarming moments for children and families alike. Jerry has written a series of six books, with the first due to be released in late June 2026.

Summer Strawberry

Summer Strawberry lives in a house made of Strawberries & she loves tennis and running, that's made her one of the fittest berries on the farm. Miss Honey Bee lives in a hole in the wall by her front door, behind a tall sunflower .

Huckleberry

Huckleberry is a North American berry, he has his own barn next door to Billy & Bobby's gym. He will tell you, Berries are full of goodness. They can help keep your body healthy, give you energy, and support your heart. They are also packed with vitamins and natural sweetness, making them a tasty snack for children and adults..

Bella

Bella lives down by the pond with a large porch over the water; her house is made from blackberries. Bella often has friends join her for evening barbecues & Roody likes fishing there. Bella's favourite pastimes are skateboarding and fashion.

Billy & Bobby

Billy & his son Bobby own and run the only gym on Wizz Berry Farm, they like to help and keep their customers happy. Both are adventure seekers and love to try new things. They also do the daily juice drink delivery and collection rounds.

Jerry Berry

Jerry Berry, another main character, who came to life with no legs, the Wizard later granted him prosthetic legs that light up! He enjoys life to the full. The Cranberry Crew help Jerry whenever they can & they love to Rap with him for fun. Jerry Berry likes to help others with disability issues if he can, and is so positive, wanting to try everything himself.

Roody Raspberry

Roody Raspberry, another main character on Wizz Berry Farm, who enjoys fishing, mainly from Bella's porch. Roody also likes adventure, to have fun and enjoys all his friendships with the other berries is on the farm.

The Elderberrys & Logan

All love the Elderberrys. They like to gossip and spend most of the day walking the farm & being nosey, with their dog Logan and his bone! Logan often disappears to be with Jerry Berry. Grandpa has his own allotment and spends hours working there.

Sky the Backpacker

Sky is a capeberry, the most chilled, relaxed character of all. She loves to travel and see new places all around the world, then share her stories with anyone who will listen. Her favorite saying is "Peace Berries"

Captain Sam &
Floaty Mc Boaty

Captain Sam lives on his boat as much as possible on Wizz Berry Farms' huge pond. The boat, called Floaty Mc Boaty, is sometimes stored at Eastbourne Harbour. His brother is P.C. Pineberry.

Gus & Russ Twins

Gus and Russ are the naughty twins; they don't try to be naughty, it just happens! Even though they are the same, they like to be different.

Syrup the Clown

Syrup just loves making everyone laugh a lot. To him, fun can be found everywhere and shared. His house is full of novelty items and prank toys. He is berry berry funny.

The School Teacher

Mr Salmonberry a cheerful and easy going teacher who makes all lessons fun. He loves giving out stickers to those who do extra well.

Emergency Service

P.C. Pineberry will always greet you with "Hello, Hello, Hello" The berry to go to if naughtiness is going on in Wizz Berry Farm. He will solve all mischievous matters & then retire, saying "Evening all".

The Scotty Advice Centre

Scotty, a proud Scottish berry with a big heart, he is the berry everyone goes to for advice. You can count on him if you have troubles. He loves porridge, bagpipes and Kilts.

The 24 Hour Service You Can Trust

Dr Boysenberry, another 24-hour emergency service, is the berry to see when you're feeling under the weather or have an accident. If you're a good patient, you'll get a lollipop & sticker!

Chief Juice

Chief Juice is ready to help in all emergencies —head stuck in a fence, locked out of your house, or even a horrid fire. He'll put it out and keep you safe 24/7—365 days of the year.

Karate Classes

Yum Yum, the best and only karate instructor in Wizz Berry Farm. If there is anything to chop or break, he's your berry! Lessons held once a week 4 pm sharp at Billy's gym, don't be late!

Goldie

A beautifully illustrated character made by Alice from Eastbourne for Wizz Berry Farm. Goldie's best friend is Millie, and Goldie loves music but most of all her Frisbee. Her other favourite thing to do is roller skating.

Silly Millie

Crafted for and by Scarlett Huggins to spark curiosity and imagination for others. Silly Millie is a cheerful, fun, happy-go-lucky youngster who loves texting, gaming and fashion. She loves helping out others, especially the Elderberries. Her favourite word is Bogie.

Best Cook in Farm!

Our latest character, Terry the Yum Berry Chef, loves to cook Blueberry Pie, Blackberry Crumble, Strawberry Jam, Cranberry Sauce and many more to wet your taste buds.

Happy Rappers

The Cranberry Crew are six cheerful cranberries who live together in a cosy house in the middle of Wizz Berry Farm. They love helping everyone by fixing, cleaning, gardening, decorating and tackling jobs big or small. They also love to Rap. Jerry Berry tries to join in!.

Harry Berry

Harry the postman loves his job and will go the extra mile to help his customers. He is a great communicator and knows everyone on the farm. His smallest letter delivery was for Miss Honey Bee, at Christmas time.

Miss Honey Bee who suffers with Hay Fever

Sunflowers are Miss Honey Bees' favourite flower; she lives in Summer's house, she talks and is the centre of communication on the farm.... She also suffers from hay fever & a fear of heights!

Pepe

Pepe is a cheerful French artist berry who speaks very little English, loves painting, and spends his spare time cycling around Wizz Berry Farm selling onions and garlic. His favourite words are "Wee", "Mooney", and "Kno", and his unique way of speaking makes him one of the most memorable characters on the farm.
